MDMK general secretary Vaiko while seeking votes for Sivaganga DMK candidate Karunas here on Monday said the DMK government had done more than what it had promised in the last five years. “Many schemes like Magalir Vidiyal Payanam, Magalir Urimai Thogai, among others, have etched his governance in the hearts of the Tamil people,” he added. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin displaying his allegiance with the farmers of the State allocated ₹1,97,000 crore for the benefit of close to 61 lakh farmers, he noted.
