US Army Chief Randy George sacked amid Iran war by Pete Hegseth
US Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth has dismissed Army Chief of Staff Randy George amid ongoing military operations in Iran.
As the West Asia war escalates, Iran has struck Israel's Haifa city, with vehicles set ablaze and debris scattered on the streets. Thick smoke engulfed the skies following the missile attack, though no injuries have been reported so far. Haifa has come under attack on several occasions, including a previous strike on its port. In Petah Tikva, central Israel, an Iranian missile landed in a barren area just hours ago, causing the complete destruction of an industrial facility believed to be a drone company. The missile struck metres away from residential high-rise apartments, narrowly avoiding a major disaster. In the last 12 hours, there have been six missile attacks targeting central and northern Israel, with five missiles landing in different locations across central Israel. The conflict continues with both Israeli defense forces and Iranian forces carrying out strikes targeting various locations.w
