Global coincident bursts of high frequency oscillations across the human cortex coordinate large-scale memory processing

Global integration of information is critical for memory and cognition. Here, the authors show that high gamma and ripple frequency oscillations burst coincidentally across sensory and association cortical areas as memories are encoded and recalled.
